A hoax bomb call to blow up Infosys building located at the Chandigarh IT Park

A hoax bomb call to blow up Infosys building located at the IT Park kept the police busy in the evening. The call was received about 5 pm after which the police rushed to the spot accompanied by bomb and dog squads, Quick Reaction Teams(QRT) and Operation Cell personnel.

All the employees working in the area were asked to vacate the area so that a thorough check could be done. Nothing suspicious was found during the check after which the employees were allowed to return to their workplace. Later, police came to know that the bomb call was fake.
